This
is a gift for children with cancer. Just as importantly
it's for family members and friends going through the
process with them. It's about healing through love,
meditation, visualization, and imagination. |

Queasy Pops™ |
| |
In the Knights of
The Magical Moon book, knights will read about the Airy
Fairies. They're the sweet little fairies who take care
of children while they're resting in the Airy Fairies
Forest of Dreams. They harvest magical herbs and make
Queasy Pops from them. The Queasy pops help the children
with their upset tummies. Only the Airy Fairies know
what magical ingredients go into these pops but we've
heard that ginger, peppermint, cinnamon, papaya,
lavender and citrus are some of the special ingredients.
If you want to order some of these magical Queasy pops,
go to the Airy Fairy Reality Store Front and tell them
you come from the Kingdom of the Magical Moon. They will
be happy to take your order.

the Magical Moon Foundation. What a beautiful thing it
is to know that companies like this have such heart !

Let me introduce
myself. My name is Donna Green. I'm an artist and an
author of children's books. I'm a single mom living in a
big old farmhouse with a constantly varying number of
children and animals. I feel very blessed to still be
here at the age of fifty- two and doing what I love to
do.
Among the books I've illustrated none have brought me
more pleasure or personal gratification than the
Velveteen Rabbit. What better opportunity could an
artist have than to spread the message of how love,
above all other things, makes us real?
This brings me to why I'm writing this letter. Over
three years ago I received a phone call from a group of
parents asking if they could purchase a large number of
my Velveteen Rabbit books. They wanted them for a
memorial service celebrating the courage and beauty of
19 children and their families. The children had all
died of cancer after playing on a playground where toxic
waste had been dumped.
The story of The Velveteen Rabbit was read at their
memorial service and then a butterfly was released for
each child. The letters and phone calls that I received
in the weeks that followed were overwhelming. The
beautiful message from the Velveteen Rabbit touched so
many wounded lives and seemed to help them with their
loss.
It was soon after this happened that I decided to write
a sequel to the book called, Knights of the Magical
Moon. It would be a part of a package called The
Velveteen Rabbit's Gift of Courage, a gift for every
child and family going through cancer.
Because the ideas flew out so quickly and easily, I knew
that I didn't have much to do with what was happening.
It was just meant to be. Divine Light led my steps and
what came about from the initial idea became a wonderful
story about the Velveteen Rabbit bringing a magic sword
to children with cancer. The 144 page book and personal
journal becomes the child's own story of becoming a
knight as they learn to fight off dragon like creatures
attacking their healthy cells. Family and friends become
the child's supporting army and through the book become
involved in the battle. The book is given to the child
with a plush Velveteen Rabbit, a meditation CD, a
beautiful butterfly box with a coupon for a chrysalis to
arrive weeks later, a purple heart medallion to be
inscribed with their name, designed by a famous Celtic
artist, Courtney Davis, an interactive card pack from
the Velveteen Rabbit and it all sits in a medieval hat
that a courageous young knight fighting cancer might
wear.
This brings me to the harsh reality that dreamers like
myself are always faced with. One wing needs to be on
the ground in order to share the dream with others.
In order to publish Knights of
The Magical Moon and get this entire package out to
children with cancer, we need to raise substantial funds
to make it happen. This will put these packages out free
of charge and given directly to the children.
I don't know very many people who haven't been touched
by cancer. When an innocent child is dealing with an
issue most adults have a hard time with it's hard to
look the other way. Please help to make our project one
that you can add your name to as well.
Have you ever felt like you
would like to do something really meaningful, not
knowing how to start? This is the kind of project that
makes the world smaller and a little kinder. One person
is like a drop of water; together we're an ocean. We all
know how powerful the ocean can be!
Please make this dream take wings by
donating a courage package to a child...
