Sorry it's been a long time since I've last written to you. I hope you've had a blessed holiday. I know I had. I spend time with my family, and received candy...(Yummy!!!).As for now, I am okay. I recently got accepted to Hillcrest High School for Pre-Med. Not my number one choice, but I'm excited.

I've recently seen the new and improved Magical Moon web site. I am so excited! I can't believe my graduation picture is on the web site. That just reminds me of how how close I am getting to a becoming a young lady at such a young age. To me, that is a very big and scary step for me. But with the support of my family, friends and God, I know I shouldn't have any worries.

As for my summer, I am expecting to go to a summer camp for children with cancer, located in New Jersey. This camp is called Happiness is Camping. I have been attending this camp for the past 5 years. This is going to be my 6th year being with all my friends again. I am also going to another camp located in Maine. This is also for children with cancer, and their families, and I am also going to Florida. This is so exciting. I haven't went there since 2000. I can't wait!!! But the best part is that I am finally going to see Donna and my Magical Moon Family. Can't wait!!!!!

I got your e-mail, and I will be happy to write every week and keep you updated. I was literally jumping when I heard Donna wanted to model one of the characters in her book after me. This is so exciting for me and my family.

This is what I have to write for how it's important to be positive and well supported by family and friends...

I feel battling with cancer is hard. Everyone feels that way. It hurts both physically and emotionally. But as long as you have a strong faith in God...I know you'll be fine. My family has a very strong faith in God, and I believe that's what saved my life. Also the support of my friends and other family members. The prayers of friends and family are very important in a hard and long battle. The important thing to realize is that you are strong and the Lord is the one who is holding you up through this chapter in your life. Stay strong, Be brave, and look ahead for there is always a shining light ahead.
